Our Statement of Faith

1. We believe that God uniquely, verbally and fully inspired the human authors of the Holy Scriptures, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, in the original manuscripts, infallible, and God-breathed.
2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe Jesus is the second person of the Trinity, perfect Deity and true humanity united in one person forever, possessing and the divine Excellencies and is co-equal with the Father. Jesus, Son of the living God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third co-equal person of the Trinity at work in the world to execute divine activity and especially to reveal Jesus Christ and to glorify Him.
5. We believe human beings are sinful creatures from birth and bear full responsibility for this sin. Humanity is subject to God’s just judgment of eternal separation from Himself in Hell. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all.
6. We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross in the place of our sins thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation, through no merit of mankind’s own, for all who trust in Him alone and rose physically from the dead on the third day.
7. We believe Jesus Christ ascended to sit at the right hand of God, where He continually intercedes on every believer’s behalf.
8. We believe Jesus Christ is returning to receive His church and rule and reign forever.
9. We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and members of the body of Christ, the one true Church.
10. We believe the only true basis of a Christian life is Christ’s Agape love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
11. We believe the greatest obligation of every Christian is the fulfillment of the Great Commission as given by Christ in Matthew 28 through the wide array of gifts and talents the Father bestows upon His children.
